WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT
For centuries people have explored the lakes and plains of East Africa on two feet. We explore this incredible region on two wheels. Starting from Arusha we cycle out across banana and coffee plantations before entering the Great Rift Valley and the grasslands where Maasai cattle graze.
At 900hrs, We will cycle a route going through the plantations of bananas and coffee prior to heading west to the Monduli mountain-range. The Open farmlands lead you past the bottom of this mountains. The soil here is referred to as the ‘Black cotton’ and actually is extremely susceptible to erosion. You will go through the tiny valleys plus Masai homesteads as you cross the foothills.
